Here’s the simple about me page. In May of 2008 I was at a conference in Germany and somehow decided that I should run a marathon. After returning back to Pittsburgh I found a training plan and registered for the Erie Marathon. I’ve been running more or less ever since. I’m not a natural athlete, nor have I gained an ultraskinny runners body. I’m 6’2″ and weigh about 190, so I’m not lightning fast and I’m not going to make people feel bad with articles about running Boston qualifier times, because I can’t. I’m just a regular guy who likes running.
I currently live in Manhattan and work in Westchester County about 20 miles north of the city. I also spend about a quarter of my time living near downtown Minneapolis. This affords me the pleasure of training in two of the most beautiful places in the country: Central Park and along the banks of the Mississippi River.
Also, because it’s trivially easy to figure out who I am based on my username, I’ll save you the effort. I’ve got both a personal home page and associated personal weblog, and a professional web page. That’s all I’m going to save about that.
